We speak in first-person singular rather than first-person plural in the rest of this book. (We say “I,” not “we.”) We include a lot of personal anecdotes and experiences, and the singular form works better as a result. However, this book is unquestionably the result of a partnership between two authors and our use of the word “I” is merely a convenience.
