Organizations offering training in film-making and related areas in the UK. Apart from courses in full time education, many organizations offer professional, vocational training for freelancers.
Skillset
Skillset is the national training organization for broadcast, film, video and multimedia. The site includes careers advice for those wishing to get in to the industry and those already working. The site gives information about individual training courses and their scheme to fund 60% of vocational training on certain other courses. The Film Council give training funds to organizations to run courses, including through Skillset but not to individuals needing funding.

METIER
Metier are the national training organization for the arts and entertainment industries including performance art, visual art, literary art, arts development and teaching, technical support and production design, arts management administration and support roles.
ETNA
The European Training Network for Animation includes eight European professional animation training centres as well as around 40 European animation studios. The goals of this network are to perfect European animation training, to encourage and better the links between animation training and industry requirements and developments, and to facilitate the mobility of European professionals throughout Europe.

ASIFA
International Animated Film Association/Association Internationale du Film d'Animation ASIFA was formed in 1960 by an international group of animators to co-ordinate, further the interests and increase world-wide visibility of animation. The Association is founded in the firm belief that the art of animation can be enriched and greatly developed through close international co-operation and the free exchange of ideas, experience and information between all who are concerned with animation. ASIFA's membership includes over 1500 animation professionals and fans in more than 50 countries.
