Section 9. Acknowledgments

This digital shortcut originated as a talk to the New York City Ruby Group and would not be the same without the ample help from my colleagues there. I would like to thank David Black, Trotter Cashion, Jesse Chan-Norris, Sebastian Delmont, and Ryan Raaum for feedback on the original presentation. Thanks are also owed to Obie Fernandez, Matt Pellletier, and Debra Williams-Cauley for allowing me to turn my little slideshow into text, and Francis Hwang for ably correcting remaining errors in my initial drafts. The Ruby community is renowned for being friendly and supportive, and the help I’ve received attests that is no lie.

Most importantly of all, I would like to thank my wife, Jessica Kessler, for encouraging me along the way and inspiring me to constantly strive for bigger things. She may not have corrected my proofs, but her supportive influence is writ large on every page.
