ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Dr John Jupp OBE is a leadership development consultant with considerable experience in developing and facilitating leadership programmes for senior and strategic leaders. His PhD is in forming large senior leadership teams. He has considerable practical experience of leading in organisations: of note he established and ran the RAF Leadership Centre for 14 years and has over 40 years’ experience in successfully motivating people to achieve objectives and meet demanding deadlines in ambiguous situations.

His portfolio includes leadership and management of a fighter squadron, requirement and project management and management of operations. He designed and delivered the RAF Strategic Leadership Development Programme for those who may enter the Senior Leadership Team (which he facilitated), and delivers workshops and leadership conferences for the RAF. He has also worked with key executives from M&G, BAES, the English Institute of Sport, NHS consultants and the Met Office. His interests are his family, reading history and poetry and walking.
