Reference Aids

This book provides the following features:

• Glossary: Contains descriptions of keywords and concepts.

• Comprehensive index: Includes references to useful task-oriented examples as well as references to PROC SQL keywords, terms, and concepts.

• Keyword and language references: PROC SQL keywords and the SAS language, referencing table and column names and excerpts of code. In most cases, this book exclusively uses uppercase for SAS code, with the exception of title information. SAS software permits code to be entered in lowercase, uppercase, or any mixture of the two. Titles and footnotes, if used, are displayed in output in the manner in which they were entered.
