In this chapter, preparation steps as well as a deployment path for the Contoso deployment of Office Communications Server 2007 have been developed. The demonstrated deployment path is not the only possible deployment path for enterprises with similar requirements, IT infrastructure, and geographical distribution of users. However, it contains Best Practice results from previous Office Communications Server 2007 deployments. Therefore, Contoso deployment path can be used for similar enterprise deployments.
