This volume originates in a conference titled “The Imagination of Human Rights” and held at Bielefeld University. Funded by the Zentrum für interdisziplinäre Forschung (ZiF) and the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG), the event took place on June 28–30, 2013.
