Author’s Notes

1. Instead of continually writing “he/she” and “him/her” to cover all bases, I most often alternate between using “he” and “she”, “him” and “her.”

2. I’ve provided many web resources throughout the book—those that are current today, but may be gone tomorrow (the web addresses as well as the resources). I suggest you research any of the topics you’re interested in pursuing to get the latest resources available, and think of the ones I provide as just a starting point.
