Refer the following steps to calculate memory resource requirements:
- Determine the amount of memory resources required to support the current workloads:
Number of Workloads x Memory Usage = Current Memory Required
- Determine the memory overhead required.
- Determine the maximum utilization threshold. This is the maximum percentage of available resources that should be consumed.
- Determine the amount of growth in the memory resources that the environment should support.
- Calculate the amount of memory resources required:
Current Workload Memory Usage + Memory Overhead + Future Growth + Maximum Utilization Threshold - TPS Savings = Total Memory Resources Required
