BA SERVICE COMMUNITY EVENT CHECKLIST

Explanation: Successful events require careful planning. To facilitate the smooth running of BA Service community events, it is useful to create a checklist, assign responsibilities and track progress. Events involving large numbers of people or external speakers need sufficient lead-in time (approximately 12 weeks). Smaller internal events will require less time (approximately four weeks).

It is essential to consider common issues that may arise and, where possible, make contingency arrangements. Also consider the circumstances under which the event may have to be cancelled.
