Explanation: A learning action plan provides a mechanism to encourage business analysts to commit to three actions they will each take in response to a learning and development opportunity. The intention is that these actions will help to embed the learning and share the knowledge. The learning action plan applies equally to all types of learning activities, such as reading a book, watching a webinar, attending formal training or a conference, or attending internal development sessions.
The actions can be categorised as:
Find it: Investigate this learning point further (e.g. follow up references or reading list provided), which may lead to additional action.
Make it: Create or update a template or guidance material to support future use within the BA Service.
Use it: Apply this learning on a project or BA Service activity.
Share it: Promote the learning through a business analysis meeting, development event, shared area or other method of dissemination.
