About the author

Professor Sarah Lupton MA, DipArch, LLM, RIBA, CArb is dual qualified in both architecture and law. She is a partner in Lupton Stellakis architects, and holds a personal chair at Cardiff University. As a specialist in design liability and construction law she also practises as a Chartered Arbitrator, adjudicator and expert witness, and is the author of a number of books, including Which Contract? (RIBA Publishing), the highly popular guides to the JCT contracts (RIBA Publishing) and Cornes and Lupton’s Design Liability in the Construction Industry (Wiley-Blackwell). Sarah is the CIC Liability Champion, and chair of its Liability Panel.
