Gábor Holch spent his last two decades as a Shanghai-based intercultural leadership consultant, coach, trainer, lecturer, and speaker, mostly working for multinational clients in the Asia-Pacific and Europe.
After his studies in languages and philosophy, then graduate studies in diplomacy, he joined intergovernmental security organization OSCE, and worked in the former Yugoslavia until he moved to China in 2002. There, he established his Shanghai-based management consulting practice, became a Mandarin-language Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and advised, coached, or trained thousands of managers in various combinations of intercultural and leadership skills. He has served over a 100 firms, including AkzoNobel, Bayer, BMW, Nissan, Nokia, Patek Philippe, PepsiCo, Peugeot-Citroën, Porsche, and Walt Disney.
Gábor delivers keynote speeches on intercultural leadership and expat existence. His writing includes two books in English, another two in his native Hungarian, and about a 100 articles in print and online.
Gábor and his wife Yimin split their time between Shanghai, Budapest, and Barcelona. His grown stepdaughter Tingting lives in Ottawa.
