As we have seen, Odoo has different assets for different code bases. To get the proper result, you will need to choose the right asset bundle in which to place your custom JavaScript and CSS files. For example, if you are designing a website, you need to put your file in web.assets_frontend. In the next recipe, you will see how you can include custom CSS/JavaScript in an existing asset bundle. Although it is rare, sometimes, you need to create a whole new asset bundle. You can create your own asset bundle, as we will describe in the following section.
