Analyzing Your Results

It was our intention that the assessment exam in chapter 1 be a little easier than the rest of the book, and a little easier than the real exam. It’s also our intention that this second assessment exam, and the exams in the rest of the book, be a little harder than the real exam.

As of this writing, a passing score on the OCP Java SE Programmer exam is 58.33 percent (35 out of 60 questions). Of course, this chapter’s assessment exam had only 14 questions, so if you got 8.1 of the 14 questions correct, then in theory you passed! Table 2.1 is a rough guide to where you are in your studies.
