18. Social Accessibility: A collaborative approach to improving Web accessibility
19. TrailBlazer: Enabling blind users to blaze trails through the Web
Unfortunately, much of the content that appears on the Web is not easily accessible for visually impaired users, but some of the end user programming paradigms described in this book can help improve Web accessibility. For example, the Social Accessibility project coordinates third-party improvement of Web pages through the addition of external metadata. The TrailBlazer project, based on the CoScripter project described earlier, helps visually impaired users accomplish tasks by leading them through Web pages using step-by-step instructions that are automatically generated from a corpus of previously-created related step-by-step instructions.
