ABOUT YANN LEGENDRE

Yann Legendre is an internationally recognized illustrator, designer, and art director. His illustrations have appeared in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, GQ, Creative Review, Libération, The Guardian, and numerous other publications He has worked regularly for Janus Films, Universal Music, The Criterion Collection, CB2, and many publishers to create illustrated film and theater posters, music CD collections, book covers, and collections of furniture. His work has been exhibited all across the world, including the United States, France, Japan, Finland, England, China, Bolivia, Mexico, Slovakia, Russia, Italy, Turkey, Bulgaria, and Poland.

In 2013, his illustrated book Flesh Empire received the Gold Medal at the 3x3 Professional Show, in New York, and his illustrated poster series for the Steppenwolf Theater, in Chicago, was awarded the Gold Pencil at the One Show. He is a member of the Society of Illustrators, in New York.
